Allwaste LLC is Hiring a Front Load Driver Near Houma, LA
We are looking for an experienced Front Load truck driver to serve our Commercial Roll Off and Front End logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
Must have 2 years front end driving experience.
Clean driving record
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Serve the commercial route emptying dumpsters and offloading at the landfills
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Meet delivery schedules
- Document getting tickets signed and keeping track of landfill tickets
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Follow special delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with hydraulic operating mechanics
- Ability to drive for 10-12 hours
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid Class B or higher CDL license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Home daily
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CDL (Required)
- Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
- CDL class B (Required)
